Registered Dental Hygienist

Leslie began her dental career as an orthodontist assistant in 1998. She entered hygiene school in 2004 and graduated from LSU in 2006. She is also certified in local anesthesia and CPR. Leslie completes 15+ hours of continuing education courses each year so that she can continue to help patients with their oral health care. The best part of her job is teaching patients how to care for their mouth in order to keep it healthy because she knows that your oral health will affect the rest of your body, especially your heart.

When away from the office, Leslie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two fur babies. They love traveling around the world to see new places and cultures. They also enjoy cheering for the LSU Tigers and the Ragin’ Cajuns in Lafayette. Leslie also enjoys yoga, paddle boarding, hiking, and anything with a thrill.


Office Manager

Michelle believes that your smile is your best accessory, and the best part of her job is seeing our patients smile again. She has been in the dental field since 2012 and joined our team six years later. Michelle has a master’s degree in business administration and is certified in CPR. She also had accreditation from the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management and the American Association of Dental Office Management.

Michelle enjoys traveling with her family, reading, working out, and volunteering for various charity organizations, like St. Baldricks and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, as well as with local animal rescues.


Dental Assistant

Anna began her career at Deep South Family Dentistry in 2015. She is an expanded duties dental assistant, and she says that the best part of her job is helping people. Anna is a family person – she loves spending time with her husband and their dogs. They have a dalmatian and a beagle. Anna enjoys being outside and spending time at the beach.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Tristan loves helping people and spending time in our fun environment. She has been working here at our office since the beginning of her career in 2015. She is certified in local anesthesia, inhaled sedation, and X-rays. She has also completed courses in orthodontics, TMJ, and oral cancer. Tristan really enjoys helping patients become more aware of the importance of their dental health. In her time away from the office, Tristan enjoys camping and spending time with her German shepherds and her “pretty cool” husband.


Registered Dental Hygienist

Jodie’s motto is, “Live, Love, Laugh.” She has been using that since the beginning of her career in dentistry in 1974. Jodie is licensed in Louisiana but has been previously licensed in Maryland and Pennsylvania. She is also certified in CPR and has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education classes in periodontal care, oral surgery, OSHA requirements, resins, implants, endodontics, and general dentistry. The best part of her job is building trust and relationships with her patients so that they know they can always trust her to recommend the best treatment. Jodie works hard, plays hard, and prays hard! In her time away from the office, Jodie enjoys spending time with her family, chilling on the river, running, swimming, and boating on their party barge!


Dental Assistant

Rochelle began her dental career in 2009. She later joined our team in 2018. She says the best part of her job is getting to know her patients and helping them feel more comfortable at the dentist office. Rochelle is an expanded duties dental assistant who is certified in CPR and X-rays, and she can’t wait to help you! Outside of the office, Rochelle enjoys being with family, camping, traveling, going to concerts, and watching her son play football.


Front Desk

Hope has been working in the dental field since 2011 and has been an employee at Deep South Family Dentistry since 2015. She is currently attending school to become an expanded duties dental assistant. Hope loves helping patients find the best ways to afford treatment and getting to know her patients on a personal level. Hope grew up in Independence but currently lives here in Ponchatoula. Outside of work, Hope is a board member for the Independence Sicilian Heritage Festival, where she was queen in 2013. She also enjoys playing with her dog, Livi, taking weekend trips down the river, and spending quality time with her family, especially with her three godchildren: Kaelynn, Zaiden, and Kanlyn. Hope also loves cheering for the Southeastern Lions and the LSU Tigers!

Office Manager

Suzanne joined our team in 2012, but she has been in the dental field since 1995. She has completed training in dental assisting, dental management, patient collection, insurance, certificates, and QuickBooks. Suzanne enjoys helping her patients with any dental needs they may have, including understanding their dental benefits, setting patients up, and helping them understand their financial arrangements. She also likes to answer questions for and get to know our patients and non-patients alike.

In her free time, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband of over 20 years, family, and friends. She likes to go camping, swimming, and watching her adolescent boys play sports.


Insurance Manager

Sheila is a part of our caring, fun, and hardworking team. She started here in 2016, but she has been in the dental field since 2002. Sheila has an associate’s degree in medical and dental coding, claims, and billing. The best part of her job is working with our amazing team. Sheila truly loves what she does! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities.
